The foundation is based on the idea of supporting the Buobenmatt old people's home in the municipality of Muotathal in fulfilling its urgent public tasks through contributions. The main purpose is to support needy residents by taking over costs that are not covered by insurance, the community or other third parties (e.g. costs for transport, doctor/dentist, occupation and entertainment, clothing, new acquisition of household items and similar). In addition, the foundation has to allocate an annual amount for the organization of a suitable Christmas celebration at the old people's home. If, after fulfilling the aforementioned purposes, the foundation still has funds available annually, it can also provide support contributions for all residents, which must be used to facilitate and enhance the stay for the residents, e.g. for: Integrative Activating Everyday Design IAA (annual program for activities, entertainment and encounters, e.g. for activating residents; for festivities such as Carnival, Day of the Sick, compensation/food for various village clubs that are active or entertaining in the old people's home, etc.); Gift-giving to residents on their birthday and at Christmas; Contribution to the design of a pleasant environment (e.g. flowers and small animals, etc.).
