The cooperative aims to take over the existing spring rights, as well as the existing spring and pipeline facilities in the Eichholzwald and the associated low-pressure pipeline network in Derendingen, from the civic community of Derendingen and the EWD, in order to preserve them functionally intact as a utility and cultural asset, and to supply water to its members. The supply area includes parts of the municipality of Derendingen depicted in a low-pressure performance register. To the extent that the capacity of the spring permits, the cooperative aims to increase the number of supplied wells and also make a contribution to the village image and public water supply, for example by feeding village fountains or providing a water reserve for the village and agriculture. The cooperative may participate in companies with the same or similar objectives and conduct all business that is directly or indirectly related to its purpose or is suitable for promoting or facilitating the achievement of the cooperative's purpose, including the acquisition, management or sale of real estate.
