The Foundation exclusively and directly pursues charitable and public utility purposes. The purpose of the Foundation is to promote assistance to the elderly and disabled and to support people in need of help with the aim of ensuring their livelihood while enabling them to lead a largely self-determined life through measures to strengthen autonomy, social integration and personal responsibility. For this reason, we promote and support organizations, institutions and projects that have established or want to establish therapeutic and rehabilitative measures as a standard of care, in particular the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation, based in Nottwil (CHE-107.968.179). The Foundation pursues its objectives independently of any religious or political position. To achieve the purpose of the Foundation, it can carry out its own projects (for example, but not limited to: creating forms of housing and assistance for the elderly, disabled, people in need of help and protection) or allocate funds to other entities, public law corporations as well as foreign entities. In order to support its statutory tasks and/or to raise funds for the realization of its purposes, the Foundation can establish companies of any legal form or participate in them and transfer its structures into independent legal entities. These measures must not compromise the long-term existence of the Foundation. The Foundation does not pursue any profit-making purpose.
