Notre-Dame du Silence

The purpose of the Oeuvre de Notre-Dame du Silence is to promote closed retreats, the development of Catholic Action, the organization of religious training courses and retreats, and the possible accommodation of one or more elderly or disabled priests. To achieve this goal, the Foundation acquired a plot of land in Sion by deed of May 12, 1958, on which the Maison de NOTRE-DAME DU SILENCE will be built. The personal mandate is given by the Bishop to the Director or, if applicable, to the Management Team, with the aim of increasingly integrating the Oeuvre into the overall means of permanent and spiritual formation of the Diocese.
