The foundation aims to contribute to the improvement of the treatment of haemophilia and related disorders by enabling individuals with haemophilia or related disorders, regardless of their origin, to access therapies, and by promoting and supporting projects and programs related to the treatment of haemophilia and related disorders. The foundation's funds are to be used, in particular, for the following purposes: to initiate or promote projects or programs in Switzerland and abroad to improve: understanding and engagement; diagnosis and registration of haemophilia; the necessary specialist knowledge and infrastructure required for treatment; awareness and empowerment of directly and indirectly affected individuals; prevention of complications in the treatment of bleeding disorders and associated diseases. to award prizes to individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the foundation's field of activity; to initiate and support congresses, conferences or similar events on haemophilia and related disorders; and to cover the full or partial costs of therapies for individuals with haemophilia or related disorders in all countries where such therapies are approved. The foundation is authorized to establish additional foundations in Switzerland and abroad within the scope of its purpose and to pursue joint projects with domestic and foreign foundations or similar institutions with similar purposes. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
