The Company's purpose is the acquisition, holding, management and sale of participations in companies of any kind, in Switzerland or abroad, except for operations prohibited by the LFAIE. The Company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad and acquire, hold, sell or finance companies of any nature, except for operations prohibited by the LFAIE. The Company may acquire, hold and sell real estate, except for operations prohibited by the LFAIE. It may engage in all commercial activities directly or indirectly related to the Company's purpose. It may take all measures that are likely to promote the Company's purpose or are related thereto. The Company may, in the interest of group companies or any of them (including group companies that hold it, directly or indirectly, as well as their direct or indirect subsidiaries), enter into contracts and, in particular, grant loans or other forms of financing to group companies and provide all kinds of collateral for their obligations, including through pledges, transfers or assignments for security purposes of the Company's assets or through guarantees of any kind, whether for consideration or not.
