The foundation aims to research and promote environmental technologies, green energy, CO2 certificates, the development of new technologies, as well as the preservation of natural livelihoods for current and future generations. Projects in Switzerland, particularly in the Basel region, and in developing countries are supported, which promote the sustainable use of natural resources under social conditions, serve the preservation of plant and animal diversity, and promote ecological thinking and action. Within the framework of its activities, the foundation can establish its own organizations or participate in existing organizations by providing financial contributions or other forms of assistance. The foundation can collaborate with other organizations with similar goals in Switzerland and abroad, and support social and humanitarian projects for a better world. The foundation is neutral in terms of denomination and politics. The foundation has a non-profit character, is not profit-oriented, and does not pursue any commercial purposes.
