The foundation aims to support and promote the education of disadvantaged young people and young adults living in Switzerland or from developing countries. The support is intended to strengthen their personal and professional role in society, promote leadership skills and increase their influence in all areas of society. Through contributions and loans to education costs and/or scholarships for professional development opportunities, an intercultural, academic education at state-recognized universities and universities of applied sciences, mainly in Switzerland, is to be promoted. The education of young people or young adults from developing countries living in Switzerland abroad is supported in justified cases, e.g. if an equivalent education in Switzerland is not possible or not financially viable. The contributions are to be granted in cooperation with Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences, educational institutions, foundations (or similar institutions).
