The purpose of the company is to acquire, hold, manage and sell participations in companies in Switzerland and abroad. The company may establish branches, participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, acquire similar or related companies or merge with them. The company may acquire or sell real estate, except for transactions prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (BewG). The company may grant loans or other financing to its direct or indirect parent or subsidiary companies, either for consideration or free of charge, and provide security of any kind for the liabilities of such other companies, including by way of pledges on the company's assets or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or by way of guarantees of any kind. The company may enter into any business and conclude any contracts that are suitable to promote the purpose of the company or are directly or indirectly related thereto.
