The Company's purpose is to conduct research in the life sciences sector and provide related services. The Company may also: hold interests in the life sciences sector; acquire, hold, encumber and sell intellectual property rights; enter into all commercial, contractual and financial transactions, including the leasing and transfer (purchase and sale) of properties suitable to promote the Company's purpose or related thereto directly or indirectly; establish branches in Switzerland and abroad and participate in other companies or merge with them; develop and equip its own properties or leased properties for research purposes in the life sciences sector and use these premises for its own research or rent or sublet them to third parties; acquire, manage, encumber and dispose of intellectual property rights in Switzerland and abroad, as well as establish, at the decision of the Board of Directors, branches and agencies in Switzerland and abroad.
