To promote and practice the Catholic faith according to the Maronite tradition. To live, testify, and spread the spirituality of the Maronite Antonine Order through religious and educational activities. To support charitable works, particularly by aiding the underprivileged and providing social assistance, in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church in general and the Maronite Church in particular. To serve Maronite Church parishes and assist Catholic parishes as needed and upon request of the competent ecclesiastical authority. To celebrate the Divine Eucharistic Liturgy, primarily in Syriac, Arabic, and French, as well as in other languages as needed. To administer all the sacraments and organize religious instruction for children, youth, and adults. To celebrate all the offices inherent to the Maronite Antonine Order. To organize religious, educational, and social activities for the benefit of its members and the local community. To maintain relations with other Christian denominations and other religions in the region. The purposes for which the Association is established include: a) Maintaining a religious congregation whose objectives are for charitable purposes, including the promotion of religion and education, aid to the poor, the sick, and those in need, as well as any other charitable activity beneficial to the community. b) Establishing, maintaining, and managing convents, monasteries, and pastoral centers. c) Founding and maintaining a religious foundation as well as cultural and social centers. d) Creating and managing schools and seminaries for vocational, theological, philosophical, literary, scientific, and other training. e) Propagating and supporting the propagation of the faith and the doctrines, principles, and practices of the Catholic Church, particularly the specificity of the Maronite Church, throughout Switzerland. f) Doing everything necessary or favorable to the achievement of the aforementioned objectives and, in particular: Receiving and maintaining one or more funds and using all or part of these funds and the income generated for the pursuit of the aforementioned charitable activities. Subject to the legislation in force relating to charitable donations and bequests, acquiring, accepting, soliciting, or receiving by donation, grant, bequest, inheritance, or otherwise any real or personal property, either in the form of an annual or other contribution, or as an addition to the funds of the Association. Concluding and executing agreements, contracts, and commitments ancillary to these objectives. Holding, managing, selling, or converting any real or personal property belonging from time to time to the Association. Investing or reinvesting and managing the funds of the Association not immediately necessary for its objectives, in accordance with the investments authorized by law for trust funds.
