to promote synergy between trade development and cooperation on standards, to create favorable conditions for international economic and trade exchanges, to strengthen the coordination of international standards, technical regulations and voluntary sustainability standards (VSS), and to take on all other tasks required by its members in relation to its purpose in order to achieve the vision of 'better standards for better trade and better trade for a better world'. The Association may engage in all activities to achieve its purpose.
