The foundation aims to support the improvement of settlement quality in the Toggenburg region (Toggenburg electoral district), for example, by providing contributions to the preservation and maintenance of historic townscapes and the further development and enhancement of existing building stock; to support and promote the Toggenburg Music School (Toggenburg electoral district) through financial contributions; to support Spitex organizations in Toggenburg (Toggenburg electoral district) through financial contributions; and to support families in need in Switzerland through qualified organizations and institutions. Explanatory comments on the main purpose of improving settlement quality in a comprehensive sense, as well as essential elements that can be subsumed under this term, can be found in the appendix to this foundation deed.
