To promote, develop and finance in Switzerland and abroad scientific research in the medical field in the areas of biotechnology, genetic diseases and the entire field of application of health ICT, and in particular: Purchase and donation of high-complexity electromedical equipment, with specific reference to oncological radiotherapy, considered indispensable in the treatment of tumoral pathologies and at high cost, in favor of healthcare facilities with insufficient funds in Switzerland and abroad, in particular in Italy; Development of humanitarian projects in third world countries and those in development; Promote clinical engineering services in the hospital network; Favor the convergence of technologies supporting healthcare activities such as telemedicine, e-learning medicine, medical robotics, cybernetics and neurotechnology, biotechnology, genetic engineering, bioengineering; Financing portals and telematic magazines of medical interest; Promote and finance training also through scholarships to favor specialization in the study of the aforementioned sectors and the digitization processes of clinical and electronic health data. The foundation also aims to promote, develop and finance solidarity projects in favor of ethnic minorities whose cultural heritage is at risk and assistance for the supply of primary subsistence goods and study programs in favor of children in the third world.
