The acquisition, holding, permanent management and sale of interests in companies of any kind in Switzerland and abroad (it being specified that the Company may only hold interests in real estate companies with exclusively commercial use in Switzerland), in particular in Mauritius, Hong Kong, China and East Africa, in the field of research and development of emerging energy technologies, as well as the provision of all related services. The Company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. The Company may acquire, hold, manage, pledge, exploit and alienate commercial real estate and intellectual property rights in Switzerland and abroad, as well as finance other companies. The Company may grant loans, secured or unsecured, or provide guarantees or securities to shareholders, direct or indirect subsidiaries, parent companies, sister companies or third parties. Furthermore, it may operate or participate in cash pooling/centralization of net liquidity, including periodic balance adjustments, with the companies of the group to which it belongs. The Company may also do all of this without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest or other remuneration, excluding the Company's profit motive and incurring a concentration of risks. The Company may engage in all commercial, financial and other activities that are conducive to its purpose or directly or indirectly related to it, taking into account, to the extent permitted by law, the interests and general orientation of the Paramount group of companies.
