The foundation's purpose is to provide contributions to other tax-exempt pension institutions of the founder company, to provide additional voluntary benefits to the members of such pension institutions or their spouses and orphans in connection with a pension event. No benefits may be paid from the foundation's assets for which the founder company is legally obligated outside of occupational pension provision or which it typically pays as compensation for work performed (such as cost-of-living allowances, bonuses, length-of-service gifts, etc.).
