Promotion and support of evangelical Christian churches and evangelical Christian non-profit organizations (such as hospitals, schools, training and care institutions) abroad and the missions and aid organizations working with them (external mission) and the evangelical church and free church evangelization and mission work in Switzerland (internal mission), in particular with contributions for the remuneration and occupational pension of employees of the internal and external mission and their surviving dependents. The services for these purposes are provided from the foundation's assets or their income. In addition, the foundation uses the funds allocated to it by the founder or by companies affiliated with the founder, which are not explicitly intended as capital contributions for the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes, exclusively for educational, welfare and other non-profit and charitable purposes in the canton of Basel-Stadt, as well as for educational, welfare and other non-profit and charitable purposes for which recognition of deductibility in the sense of § 73 para. 4 lit. c of the Tax Act of the Canton of Basel-Stadt or the corresponding provisions of the applicable tax law is granted.
