The association represents the common interests of its members in matters of provision and insurance vis-à-vis politics, authorities and other institutions. It promotes the economic interests of its members and ensures information and further education of its members, in particular with regard to developments, opportunities and risks in the provision and insurance sector. The association is a self-help organization without profit-oriented purpose and is denominationally neutral. The formation of association-owned assets is limited to securing the existence and continuity of the association. Any further surplus earnings are to be used to support members through the offer of cost-effective services.
