The foundation aims to provide additional pension benefits, in addition to the pension fund of the Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland), by offering different investment strategies as per Article 1e of the Ordinance on Occupational Retirement, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans (BW 2), for the benefit of employees of CREDIT SUISSE AG and companies economically and financially closely related to it, as well as their dependents and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, disability and death. In agreement with the company, the foundation council may also decide to include the personnel of companies economically or financially closely related to the company, provided that the necessary funds are made available to the foundation. The inclusion of a related company is based on a written accession agreement. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, provided that it is the policyholder and beneficiary. No benefits may be paid out of the foundation's assets, except for the purpose of occupational pension provision, for which employers are legally obligated or which they usually pay as compensation for services rendered (e.g. cost-of-living, family and child allowances, bonuses).
