The foundation aims to provide occupational pension provision within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees of the founding company, as well as for economically or financially closely related companies and their relatives and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, death and disability. The affiliation of a related company is made on the basis of a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation can provide additional pension benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits. The foundation board issues one or more regulations on pension benefits, partial liquidation, organization, management, asset investment and financing, as well as control of the foundation. It specifically defines the relationship with employers, insured persons and other beneficiaries. Regulations can be amended by the foundation board while preserving the acquired rights of the beneficiaries. Changes must be submitted to the supervisory authority. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, whereby it must be the policyholder and beneficiary.
