The foundation aims to support active employees of BKW AG and its subsidiary and grandchild companies based in Switzerland in the following cases: 1. Contributions to the education and training costs of children for education and training that go beyond compulsory schooling and for which the employee has a maintenance obligation. The prerequisite is that the costs cannot be covered by the employee's own means after exhausting all other sources (e.g. scholarships). 2. Contributions to examination, treatment, therapy, and rehabilitation costs in the event of illness and accident of employees, their spouses, registered partners, and maintenance-dependent persons such as parents or children. Statutory and private benefits must be fully utilized, and private means must be insufficient to cover the costs. 3. Contributions directly or indirectly related to maintaining the employability or reintegration of employees into the work process after an accident or illness (investigations, consultations, support, aids, etc.) that cannot be covered by third-party and own means. 4. Contributions to employees who, as a result of psychosocial events in their environment, find themselves in a financial emergency and suffer medically justified restrictions on their ability to work and health. The profits from the foundation's investments are exclusively and permanently dedicated to the aforementioned purpose. The foundation's capital may only be used in exceptional cases to pay out contributions. Unused income is credited to the operating account. Profit-making purposes are excluded.
