The purpose of the company is to acquire, hold, manage and sell participations in Swiss or foreign companies of all kinds, with the exception of participations in real estate, which are prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (BewG). The company may grant loans to its group companies or provide other financing instruments and directly or indirectly secure the liabilities of its group companies, in particular in the form of guarantees, sureties or security assignments of the company's assets. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. The company may acquire, hold or sell real estate to the extent permitted by the BewG. The company may engage in all commercial, financial and other activities that are connected with the purpose of the company.
