The cooperative aims to promote horse breeding according to the breeding program and horse husbandry in the region of Einsiedeln and its surroundings. The cooperative thus continues the tradition of horse breeding in Einsiedeln since the founding of the Benedictine abbey in 934, as well as the tradition of exporting horses from the Einsiedeln region for over 500 years. The cooperative supports the breeding and marketing of breeding products, can organize horse and foal shows as well as other events. Additionally, the cooperative promotes the preservation of the old, traditional Einsiedeln horse, which is connected to the stud books A and B of the Einsiedeln monastery and continues to this day with the mare lines of the Einsiedeln Marstallzucht Klima, Quarta/Manda and Sella.
