The Company's purpose is to provide all services related, in particular, to the organization and management of companies, as well as the production, development, and commerce in all its forms (purchase, sale, export, import, and representation) of goods of any kind. The Company may, in particular, in Switzerland and abroad: exercise any financial, commercial, and industrial activity directly or indirectly related to its purpose, create branches or subsidiaries, participate in other companies with an identical or related purpose, acquire or create similar companies, and in general, carry out all operations that would be likely to achieve the corporate purpose directly or indirectly; as well as carry out treasury operations, intra-group financial transactions on its own account or on behalf of a subsidiary of Philip Morris International Inc., including granting loans or guarantees to its affiliated companies or to third parties, if this promotes the interests of the group to which it belongs.
