The purpose of the Point de Vue Foundation is to promote educational and cultural institutions, medical research and care, and support children and disadvantaged individuals, with a focus on the canton of Valais. The foundation can also support museums and cultural activities and promote multicultural understanding and cultural diversity. Furthermore, the foundation aims to raise awareness and promote knowledge transfer regarding environmental protection and the sustainable use of natural resources such as water, soil, air, plants, and animals. To achieve these goals, the foundation can, in particular, provide grants to existing institutions and organizations and/or support specific programs in this area and/or organize meetings and workshops to promote discussion, exchange, and cooperation in the above-mentioned areas. Specifically, the foundation can also establish a meeting, training, and exhibition center in the canton of Valais. It can also provide grants to public institutions and organizations that provide services in the general public interest. In pursuit of its purpose, the foundation can also hold, acquire, rent, lease, and sell real estate and properties of all kinds in Switzerland and abroad. It can also hold, acquire, sell, and exhibit works of art. Within the framework of its purpose, the foundation focuses its activities on the canton of Valais and Switzerland. The vast majority of grants and support go to projects, institutions, or organizations in Switzerland or the Swiss population. The foundation is politically, confessionally, ethnically, and culturally neutral. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purposes and does not aim to make a profit.
