In Switzerland and worldwide, to provide contributions to public utility institutions pursuing one or more of the following objectives and to engage itself (if necessary in collaboration with third parties) in actions and programs (including the establishment of prizes, scholarships or other similar forms) working towards the realization of these objectives in the field of: a) poverty prevention and alleviation; b) education promotion; c) religious promotion; d) health promotion (including disease prevention and cure or alleviation of related suffering); e) civic engagement promotion (including the fight against rural exodus and the promotion of volunteering); f) art, culture, cultural heritage and science promotion; g) non-professional sports promotion (i.e. exercise of sports or games promoting health and involving physical or mental skills or a certain effort); h) human rights promotion, conflict resolution or reconciliation between peoples, as well as the promotion of understanding between different religions and ethnicities, including the promotion of equality and diversity; i) environmental protection and improvement; j) assistance (including provision of housing and care) to disadvantaged persons due to their young age, old age, poor health, disability, financial difficulties or other factors; k) animal protection; l) assistance to social services providing recreational activities for disadvantaged persons due to their young age, old age, poor health, disability, financial difficulties or other social factors, with the aim of improving their living conditions.
