The company may perform all activities directly or indirectly connected with its purpose, including those of a financial and commercial nature, and is also authorized to contract loans and guarantees, provide guarantees, and grant financing. However, it may not engage in regulated activities or those subject to authorizations. The company may, in Switzerland and/or abroad, establish branches and subsidiaries and participate in other companies and businesses. The company may also acquire, dispose of, encumber, commercialize, and manage intangible assets of any nature as well as real estate properties located abroad and/or in Switzerland, in the latter case with the limitation to funds used as a permanent establishment under Article 2, paragraph 2, letter a, of the LAFE.
