The association aims to make an informative, cultural and financial contribution: to better publicize the potential of fungi in all their forms and uses, particularly to avert the looming climate catastrophe and to heal people; to network mushroom enthusiasts from culture, economy, politics, healthcare, education, environmental protection, agriculture, science, research, pharmacology and psychology, as well as from other areas of society; to build an internet platform that disseminates mushroom information and connects fungus enthusiasts worldwide; to provide ideal and financial support for the establishment of a cultural center with a focus on mushrooms: 'Central dos Cogumelos' in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; to support the transfer of knowledge and experts from the mushroom world between Switzerland and Brazil. In particular, through seminars where Swiss experts visit Brazil, not only to pass on information, but also to allow local knowledge (especially of indigenous peoples) to flow back into Switzerland; to ensure the long-term security, multiplication and dissemination of knowledge, research and development of the hitherto greatly underestimated potential of the mushroom world. The network aims to bring together people from all over the world, with a focus on Switzerland and Brazil, and provide the opportunity to exchange information and services. The network supports fungus enthusiasts in their efforts to give mushrooms more attention in our society. The association can participate in all activities and take all measures that it deems necessary and appropriate to achieve its goals. No change in the association's goals may be imposed on its members.
