In particular, it may use its funds to create, manage, develop and liquidate a portfolio consisting of all securities, financial instruments, bonds, treasury bills, participations, shares, trademarks and patents or intellectual property rights of any origin, participate in the creation, administration, management, development and control of any company, acquire by way of contribution, subscription, firm commitment or option to purchase and in any other manner, all securities, trademarks, patents or intellectual property rights, realize them by way of sale, assignment, exchange or otherwise, have these businesses, trademarks, patents and intellectual property rights developed, grant to affiliated companies and/or companies belonging to its group of companies, the group being defined as the group of companies including the parent companies, their subsidiaries and the entities in which the parent companies and their subsidiaries hold a participation, excluding operations prohibited by the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners.
