The association Proyectos Intercambios Culturales (hereinafter: the association) aims to: contribute to the development of the cultural fabric of Switzerland related to the world of dance in general, by making known in particular, dancers and choreographers of international renown to the general public and young dancers, amateur or in pre-professional training, notably through encounters, workshops or cultural events; to make known regional dance schools by inviting their students, teachers, dance masters and choreographers to present their methodology and art in Switzerland and abroad; to enrich the art of dance in the region by proposing other methodologies for learning and teaching ballet, contemporary dance, or other approaches to dance; to enable families with low incomes to access dance training for their children, notably through the awarding of scholarships, as well as advantageous access to cultural activities; to raise public awareness of the art of dance, with the aim that it will eventually be recognized as a full-fledged art form, on a par with theater and music.
