PTI Switzerland serves to harmonize and jointly provide PTI (police technology and informatics). Its activities may include planning, procurement, implementation, further development and operation of PTI products. It provides its services primarily to the parties to this agreement. It may make its products available to other users based on agreements, namely: a. Swiss municipalities and the Principality of Liechtenstein and their joint organizations; b. decentralized administrative units of the municipalities referred to in letter a and private individuals who are involved in the performance of police tasks or to whom police-related public tasks are assigned, insofar as they need the products to fulfill their statutory tasks. It exclusively pursues public interests in favor of the municipalities. It cooperates with foreign organizations with a similar purpose.
