All operations related to precious metals, other commodities and financial instruments, including derivatives within the limits permitted by the Stock Exchange and Securities Trading Act. The company may also arrange financing for its own account or for the account of third parties and grant guarantees or collateral in favor of subsidiaries or third parties, within the limits permitted by the Banking Act. It may establish branches and subsidiaries, and take participations in other companies, in Switzerland and abroad. The company may also acquire, encumber, alienate and manage real estate in Switzerland and abroad (in Switzerland only for commercial properties and excluding operations prohibited by the LFAIE). In general, the company may undertake any activity that is directly or indirectly related to the purpose it pursues and that is suitable for developing it.
