The Association aims to promote the recognition, establishment, promotion and dissemination of professional peer support in the field of mental health. It undertakes, in particular, to: Raise awareness among the public, professionals and authorities about the contribution of professional peer supporters in the fields of mental health and recovery. Promote the integration of professional peer supporters in mental health within care structures, training, research and in the management of living spaces or associations in the psycho-social field. Value the expertise of professional peer supporters based on their recovery journey in mental health, addictions or neurodevelopmental disorders, and highlight this experience in the exercise of their professional activities. Support professional peer supporters in mental health in their training, professional integration and institutional recognition. Ensure the content and development of training programs are adapted to the needs of professional contexts. Encourage and support the establishment of employment contracts that recognize the specificity of the role of professional peer supporters, guaranteeing remuneration and working conditions adapted to their qualifications and missions.
