The animal carcass collection centre aims to collect carcasses in the region in accordance with cantonal legislation. To this end, the company builds a regional animal carcass collection centre and is responsible for its maintenance and operation. The company is non-profit. The costs (investment, renewal and operating costs) are generally distributed according to the share rights of the municipalities, calculated on the basis of the population (20%), the large animal units (30%) and the delivered slaughterhouse waste (50%). The cost distributor is determined annually based on the latest published population figures (Cantonal Office of Statistics). The participation rights remain in force regardless of any changes to the cost distributor. The company can participate in similar or related companies, acquire or establish them, and conduct all business and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote the purpose of the company.
