The Renée Spalinger Foundation aims to support Swiss projects in the areas of old age, poverty and illness. In particular, the listed institutions are to be benefited with the following annual amounts: Stiftung Sozialwerke Pfarrer Ernst Sieber, a foundation based in Zurich, Hohlstrasse 192, 8004 Zurich, CHF 50,000.00; Caritas Zurich, an association based in Zurich, Beckenhofstrasse 16, 8006 Zurich, CHF 50,000.00; Zürcher Blindenfürsorge-Verein (Zürcher Sehhilfe), an association based in Zurich, Lutherstrasse 14, 8004 Zurich, CHF 50,000.00; Stiftung Pro Senectute Kanton Zürich/Für das Alter, a foundation based in Zurich, Forchstrasse 145, 8032 Zurich, CHF 50,000.00. The amounts can be adjusted by the foundation board to reflect inflation, based on the national consumer price index. If one of these institutions ceases to exist, the foundation board will select a new beneficiary, a tax-exempt institution with a similar purpose, and obtain the approval of the supervisory authority. The foundation may also benefit other organizations beyond those explicitly mentioned, provided they serve the purpose to be fulfilled. The foundation does not pursue any economic purposes and does not strive for profit.
