The Company's purpose is the acquisition, financing, holding, management and/or disposal of Swiss and foreign companies of any kind; real estate transactions prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners are excluded. The Company may, in Switzerland and abroad, carry out any financial, commercial and industrial activity directly or indirectly related to its purpose; create branches or subsidiaries, participate in other companies with an identical or related purpose, acquire or create similar companies and, in general, carry out all operations that would be likely to achieve the company's purpose directly or indirectly, as well as carry out treasury operations, intra-group financial transactions for its own account or for the account of a subsidiary of the Philip Morris International Inc. group, including granting loans or guarantees to its affiliated companies or to third parties, if this promotes the interests of the group to which it belongs.
