The company operates reinsurance business in all insurance branches for all legal entities belonging to the same group of companies. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad and participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad. Furthermore, the company may conduct all business that is suitable to promote or facilitate the development of the company and the achievement of its purpose, including the acquisition, holding and disposal of real estate. In particular, the company may grant or receive loans or other financing to or from other group companies or third parties, including their direct or indirect shareholders and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, and provide security of any kind for the liabilities of such other companies, including by way of pledges or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or guarantees of any kind, whether against payment or not, provided that this does not involve any activity requiring authorization under the Banking Act, as fund management or as a securities firm within the meaning of the FINIG.
