The foundation aims to promote nature conservation through the support and implementation of renaturation projects (rewilding), particularly through the renaturation of the Glenlochay valley, Perthshire, Scotland, UK, as well as other potential areas, with the goal of restoring these areas to their natural and original, wild state, in which nature maintains its own balance. Human interventions in these areas are to be minimized over time and should be limited to creating the conditions for nature to overcome the effects of today's reduced biodiversity and overexploitation. This can be achieved, in particular, through reforestation projects with native trees and shrubs, projects for the conservation and protection of endangered native plant and animal species, and projects for the reintroduction of endangered native animal species. The purpose of the foundation may also include supporting and promoting the scientific monitoring of renaturation projects and publishing and making available the corresponding findings. The foundation operates within its purpose both domestically and abroad. It can acquire land both domestically and abroad. Land acquisition can be direct or indirect. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purpose and does not strive for profit.
