The Company's purpose is the acquisition and holding of participations in companies in the fields of trade, industry, finance and real estate, except for operations prohibited by the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners, as well as the provision of all kinds of services, in particular management, administration and maintenance services for companies in which it holds direct or indirect participations, as well as for direct or indirect shareholders or companies in which they hold direct or indirect participations in Switzerland or abroad. The Company may: engage in any financial, commercial or industrial activity, whether movable or immovable, directly or indirectly related to its purpose; create and operate branches or subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad; participate in all enterprises having a direct or indirect relationship with its purpose; grant loans or guarantees to shareholders or third parties, if this serves its interests; manage or transfer a portfolio of securities that would be contributed to the Company, or that the Company would propose to acquire; acquire one or more properties and operate them by lease, rental or otherwise, as well as their possible transfer; invest the Company's available funds; participate, by all means, directly or indirectly, in all operations that may be related to its object by way of creation of new companies, contribution, subscription or purchase of securities or social rights, merger or otherwise, creation. Operations prohibited by the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners are excluded.
