Ronald und Ruth Kocher Stiftung

The purpose is to protect the artistic estate of Ronald and Ruth Kocher, make it accessible to the public, and possibly repurchase important works from third parties; to exhibit a selection of works by both founders in alternating exhibitions, usually annually, and to supplement these exhibitions with the extensive collection of the couple's works by other artists; to lend the works belonging to the foundation; to create a catalog of works; and to award a prize of significant amount to one to three lesser-known Swiss artists every two to three years, provided the foundation's financial situation permits it. The amount of the prize is determined by the foundation board. The awarding of the prizes will generally take place only after the death of both founders and is intended to promote talent.
