The company's purpose is to purchase, sell, own, manage and exploit real estate in Switzerland and abroad. Excluded from this is the purchase of plots of land that require a permit under the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad of December 16, 1983 (SR 211.512.41). It can establish branches in Switzerland and abroad, set up subsidiaries, participate in related companies, acquire, hold, manage and sell intellectual property rights, and furthermore carry out all legal transactions that may be necessary to achieve the company's purpose, in particular to grant financing to affiliated and other companies, provide securities of all kinds or otherwise secure or guarantee the obligations of these companies.
