Safe Ökosystem Stiftung

The Foundation's purpose is (i) to develop the technology for the Safe Ecosystem, (ii) to develop technologies and applications that build on the Safe Ecosystem, (iii) to develop and promote the Safe Ecosystem, (iv) to provide training and education in the field of Safe Ecosystem technology, (v) to promote public awareness of the Safe Ecosystem and its applications, and (vi) to hold and manage digital and non-digital assets for these purposes. To achieve its purpose, the Foundation may, in particular: support and finance suitable research and development activities, projects, companies, and individuals; acquire, hold, manage, or grant trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights or licenses, GitHub repositories, and fiat currencies; issue, receive, distribute, and hold digital information units (tokens) (no speculative trading activities); organize, conduct, and support training sessions, hackathons, developer events, and the like for participants in the Safe Ecosystem and interested developers; create and make available training materials such as developer kits and technical descriptions; contact various companies, partners, banks, regulators, authorities, or other third parties for the benefit of the Safe Ecosystem; organize conferences or other events that support and promote the Safe Ecosystem and its protocol; host, manage, and maintain websites and interfaces; conduct and promote all business and participate in all transactions, and generally take all actions that are necessary, appropriate, related, or desirable to achieve or promote the goals described herein. The Foundation may also delegate the fulfillment of its tasks to other organizations, create and/or promote existing ones. The Foundation may fulfill its purpose through its own employees or outsource the fulfillment of its tasks. The Foundation may participate in other companies and establish subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. The Foundation may participate in other blockchain projects with tokens. The Foundation does not have a profit-making purpose and does not strive for profit. However, the Foundation may generate profits to the extent necessary for achieving its purpose. Within the scope of its purpose, the Foundation may operate in Switzerland and abroad.
