Saint Thomas More and Matthew Foundation

The Foundation is a non-profit organization. The Foundation's purpose is to provide assistance and support to university students enrolled in law and economics degree programs at predominantly Latin American universities that are inspired by the social thought of the Catholic Church. The beneficiary students must be deserving but lack sufficient financial resources to cover the cost of their studies. Support may be provided through scholarships or as support for research projects in law and economics. The Foundation pursues its purpose using its own assets and any contributions or donations it receives from the Founder and third parties, and in turn allocates the funds deemed appropriate to the aforementioned beneficiaries. The Founder explicitly reserves the right to modify the purpose in accordance with Article 86a of the Swiss Civil Code.
