To acquire, manage, administer, hold and sell, as a holding company, participations in companies, real estate, commercial, industrial, financial, service and any other type of company with a seat and/or activities in Switzerland and/or abroad, also in a fiduciary capacity, as well as financing companies or enterprises in which it has a participation or third parties, granting credits in any form to companies or enterprises in which it has a participation or third parties, notably through loans, advances or guarantees. The company may also acquire, encumber, manage, administer and sell real estate in Switzerland and abroad. However, real estate in Switzerland or participations in real estate companies and enterprises with real estate in Switzerland may only be acquired (without undergoing the LAFE approval procedure) provided that the real estate is intended for the exercise of an economic activity pursuant to Art. 2 para. 2 lit. a LAFE. The company may also develop, acquire, sell, receive and grant the use of technologies, technical know-how, industrial patents, trademarks and industrial property rights in general.
