In order to promote strong and diverse artistic vitality in the Lausanne region and to defend access conditions that allow for the true integration of cultural and social dimensions into the urban fabric, the cooperative society, through the joint action of its members, aims to: provide its members with spaces for creation, dissemination, and exchange at favorable conditions; renovate, build, or purchase buildings or premises for artistic, cultural, and social practices; propose alternative uses, temporary or permanent, for vacant commercial or artisanal premises and buildings; promote the development of innovative real estate projects that combine creation, dissemination, exchange, and housing spaces, all at affordable prices; and design or build buildings while favoring, as far as possible, self-construction, reuse of materials, and resource economy (for complete purpose see statutes).
