The Sensability association promotes the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) by advocating for the improvement of conditions for the autonomous living and full participation of people with disabilities in all areas of life. It pursues this purpose in particular through a) raising awareness, training and advising stakeholders in the scope of the CRPD and the Disability Equality Act (BehiG), such as planners, architects, educational institutions, administrations, private or public service providers, etc. b) developing and implementing projects c) building, supporting and coordinating local competence centers (offices). The association may establish a central and/or several regional offices. The association may also engage in other activities directly or indirectly related to its purpose.
