The purpose of the association and its task is to promote and support Swiss entertainment artists in the entire Swiss show business industry at home and abroad. The purpose of the association is to promote young artists in various branches of music and entertainment with the annual PRIX WALO-SPRINGBOARDS and to award competition prizes on the occasion of the SMALL PRIX WALO awards, as well as the annual awarding of the PRIX WALO trophy to deserving and outstanding Swiss artists and Swiss productions in the entire Swiss show business industry, in various branches of music and entertainment. The association's purpose is to be achieved, among other things, through careful organization of events, artist promotion and consulting: a) Holding regular events PRIX WALO-SPRINGBOARD / SMALL PRIX WALO for young talent promotion; b) The annual awarding of the PRIX WALO trophy for outstanding talents and achievements; c) joint, purposeful and serious appearance (e.g. cultural policy, media, etc.); d) Operation of an information center and publication of a regularly appearing information organ.
