1. The purpose of the Foundation is to develop, maintain, update, promote, expand and manage the digital ecosystem controlled and owned by the Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the SingularityNET Ecosystem). This purpose is pursued either directly or indirectly through the following activities: a. developing code and software related to the SingularityNET Ecosystem; b. researching the potential integration of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology and their applications for commercial and non-commercial purposes; c. promoting and supporting academic research in the field of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology; d. supporting the improvement, development, growth and expansion of the SingularityNET Ecosystem; e. creating and disseminating information and educational content about the SingularityNET Ecosystem, artificial intelligence and blockchain technology; and f. providing financial support to projects and initiatives for the development of digital infrastructure related to the SingularityNET Ecosystem, artificial intelligence and blockchain technology. 2. The Foundation may pursue the following secondary purposes in Switzerland or abroad: a. managing the treasury by acquiring and disposing of financial instruments, structured financial products, derivatives, commodities, cash and other investments deemed suitable by the Foundation Board; b. establishing branches, spin-offs, subsidiaries or other legal entities; c. participating in, acquiring or establishing joint ventures with enterprises directly or indirectly related to its purpose; d. carrying out all financial, founding, commercial or industrial activities that are conducive to its development and directly or indirectly related to its purpose; e. employing staff, independent contractors, advisors, third-party contractors and advisors deemed necessary for the proper conduct of the Foundation's business; f. owning or granting trademarks, copyrights and other intellectual property rights or licenses; and g. carrying out all business activities that are useful for promoting its purpose or directly or indirectly related to its purpose. 3. Any of the transactions mentioned in Section 2 of this Article may be carried out by third parties acting as representatives or external agents. 4. The Foundation does not pursue a profit-making purpose and does not strive for profit in general. The Foundation may engage in activities that generate revenue and profits, to the extent that this is deemed useful for pursuing the purposes and objectives of the Foundation. Any profits generated by the Foundation shall be used in accordance with the purposes, objectives and activities mentioned in this Section.
