The purpose of the company is to acquire, finance, hold and manage participations. The company may grant loans or other financing to its direct or indirect parent companies and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, either for consideration or free of charge, and provide security of any kind for the liabilities of such other companies, including by way of pledges on the company's assets or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets, or by way of guarantees of any kind. Furthermore, the purpose also includes all activities that serve to promote the main purpose; in particular, the company may establish branches in Switzerland and abroad, found or acquire similar or related companies, engage in financial transactions of any kind on its own account or as a trustee, and acquire, manage and sell real estate.
