The foundation aims to support a sustainable structure that ensures the survival of the Tibetans as a living community in the diaspora, whether in India, Nepal or other Himalayan countries. By sustainability, it is understood that young Tibetans grow up in a healthy environment, are well-fed and receive a good education and subsequent vocational training. This enables them to find employment in an environment that has the critical mass for the survival of the exiled Tibetan community, allowing them to start a family and lead a decent life. It is also in line with the foundation's purpose to create sustainable jobs, support the education and training of young Tibetans, and achieve the above goal. Through the foundation's sustainable activities, the threatened identity and culture of the Tibetans are also to be preserved by establishing, promoting or supporting projects in the education, health, agriculture and economic sectors. The focus is on providing solidarity to support the Tibetan population's sustainable self-help. The foundation promotes and supports activities in the healthcare sector in the Himalayan region, particularly the promotion of sustainable quality of basic medical care and sustainable nutrition in the Himalayan region, as well as the implementation and support of research work in these areas, with the aim of gaining insights from research into balanced and wholesome nutrition and implementing these insights into economic impulses for the Tibetan population. The foundation can also support children or young people from the Himalayan region if they meet the criteria for the necessary support for education and career choice. This is done, for example, by supporting the construction and ongoing operation of schools or children's villages in the Himalayan region. Furthermore, the foundation provides assistance for the education and training of needy Tibetan children and young people worldwide in justified individual cases. The foundation can also support entire villages or regions with a community project, such as rebuilding houses and roads after natural disasters (e.g. Helambu, Langtang region). To fulfill the foundation's purpose, the foundation can create or support its own suitable facilities and institutions. The foundation can take all necessary actions and dispositions to achieve its purpose, including buying, selling, renting, leasing and managing properties or building buildings itself. The foundation is an independent and non-profit initiative. It pursues directly, unrestrictedly and permanently charitable and politically neutral purposes. The foundation dedicates its capital and profits irrevocably to these purposes. The foundation does not pursue self-help or commercial purposes and does not strive for profit.
